In Colombia there is a lot of ways to make Arepas. It can be sweet, salty, with cheese or all kind of different food on or inside of it.

To cook it here, I find this Colombian's store and there I find the right flour to do it.
This recipe is about the salty ones it is realy soft, and if you really like cheese I think you are going to love it.

2 cups of arepas's flour ( The one that's says dona arepa)
1 & 1/2 cups of mozarella grated chesse
2 spons of sugar
1 spoon of salt
1 tea spoon of Butter

  1. Put the flour and the cheese in a really big mixing boil.

2.  Put the warm milk in the mixing boil while you knead all the ingredients at the same time.

3.    Knead really well until all the ingredients seem like a uniform dough

4.    Take a handful of the dough and make a flat circular shape with it and put it in the frying pan. Make shore that the butter is well melted of all over the frying pan.
